Dr Srisha Hebbar has completed his medical education with a MBBS degree in year 2000. He has undertaken his specialist training in West midlands, including a year of training in the Birmingham liver transplant center. He has done a colonoscopy fellowship at Cheltenham and a PB endoscopy fellowship (ERCP and Endoscopic ultrasound) from Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham.
He is a consultant Gastroenterologist at University Hospital of North Midlands, and is the clinical lead for endoscopy services and endoscopy training.
His areas of expertise include all forms of endoscopy including advanced resection of polyps, ERCP, endoscopic ultrasound and bowel cancer screening.
He is the director of Stoke regional endoscopy course centre and is involved in organising various ERCP hands-on courses. He is also the director of the International Stoke ERCP EUS symposium.
He is serving as the BSG endoscopy secretary.
