EUS Guided Biopsy: Moving from aspiration cytology to core biopsy
Friday, January 27, 2023 | 🕐 12:30-13:30 CET | 🌐 VIRTUAL
The Course is complimentary and will be held in the English language.
Why join us?
In our first part of the “Tissue Is the Issue” webinar series, we compared the use of FNA and FNB needles to identify the differences in application and outcome. Various users shared their experiences and presented their recorded or live cases. FNB needles are recognized as the right choice when there is a need to collect coherent tissue samples.
Now, in Part II of the webinar series, which focuses on FNA/FNB for future diagnosis, we will present clinical evidence that leaves little doubt in favor of using an FNB needle instead of an FNA needle for endosonographic fine-needle puncture when the goal is to obtain sufficient tissue material for the most modern diagnostic methods, DNA analysis or molecular diagnostics.
Prof. Vilmann will present the latest results of his multi-center study comparing FNA and FNB needles for use in DNA analysis and we are not giving too much away when we say that the differences are very significant. You will then accompany his team live as they perform the endosonographic fine-needle puncture and discuss the cases and conclusions.
Enrich your Friday afternoon and join Prof. Vilmann and his team during the presentation of the results and the subsequent live session. Register now for the webinar “EUS Guided Biopsy: Moving from aspiration cytology to core biopsy“.
