Let’s be Clear – Elevating the Standard of Endoscopy
At Olympus, we are passionate about the solutions we create for the medical and life sciences as well as industrial equipment industries. For more than 100 years, Olympus has focused on making people’s lives healthier, safer and more fulfilling by helping to detect, prevent and treat disease, furthering scientific research, ensuring public safety and capturing images of the world.
In 2020 Olympus launched EVIS X1, our most advanced endoscopy system to date. The new system intends to improve outcomes from disorders of the stomach, colon and oesophagus as well as from bronchial diseases by providing every endoscopist with proven innovative tools. The launch of EVIS X1 further strengthens our leadership in medical endoscopy.
EVIS X1 supports accurate screening and confident diagnosis with the introduction of new and easy-to-use technologies, thus supporting how gastrointestinal disorders — such as colorectal cancer (CRC) — or bronchial diseases — are detected, characterized and treated. These include Extended Depth of Field (EDOF), Red Dichromatic Imaging (RDI) and Texture and Color Enhancement Imaging (TXI) as well as the already known and proven Narrow Band Imaging (NBI). By supporting the identification of lesions, our AI-powered ENDO-AID CADe aims to increase the adenoma detection rate.
In AI, we recognize the power of elevating endoscopic imaging to uncharted levels. Considering ENDO-AID CADe as a first step, we are planning additional AI-powered applications for image detection and characterization.
In combination with our broad EndoTherapy portfolio, Olympus is your one-stop supplier for all endoscopic procedures.
